2019 has been a good year because i made a few new friends and I really enjoyed camp and Ice skating. I really like my classroom and all the cool activities we got up to throughout the year, the best thing about 2019 was meeting new friends. One thing I didn't like about was speeches because I don't like public speaking. This year has been a great year but I can't wait until next year.

Leadership day
Yesterday on the 27/11/2019 the year 7 went to Spencer park for leadership day. First we got on the bus and set off for Spencer park. When we arrived we got a booklet that described what we would be doing. After carb snack we were directed to our first task, the first task we did was to get up the netting of the side of the hill (I felt like a spider monkey). The we were escorted to our next challenge which was the flying fox challenge we had to get three of us to the other side without falling off. It took a few tries but we got there in the end. After a few more challenges we had to write a speech about what we learnt and what are strengths are and what are weaknesses are. My favorite activity was the flying fox one it was so fun, My weaknesses are that I get stressed very easily and I am not that patient. And then we set off back to school it was a very fun and enjoyable day.

Athetics day
two weeks ago it was athetics day. I got through to zones for shot put, relay and high jump. I was an exhausting day and I really enjoyed it.

this week we are working on speeches I am almost finished mine I'm just adding some finishing touches. I am not looking forward to presenting my speech I don't like everyone looking at me It freaks me out. But I can't wait to get it over and done with.

Belfeast/performance about Maui

This Tuesday at 9:30 am we went over to the hall to see a performance about Maori and the sun
It was really funny because he thought he was cool. And there was an eel that he was going to defeat but he decided not to I really enjoyed it.
Then at the start of lunch me Kian,Jordan and Corban went over to the BCN(Belfast Community Network) to serve room 21 at belfeast. First we set up the tables and chairs, Next we filled up the cups with water. Thirdly we cut up the bread so we could put the sausages in later, then we put a napkin under the bread. Next we put a sausage in each bit of bread, Finally we were ready to serve room 21. About five minutes later they arrived and we put tomato sauce and cheese on them I really enjoyed it it was really fun.

Belfeast
On Tuesday 13th of August we went over to the BCN (Belfast community network) to have a
Belfeast. Belfeast is where each week a class from the seniors at Belfast school to have a feast. we had nachos and we ate it, It was good even better it was FREE there was also music.It was good because we didn't have to make it because the were servers who gave us refreshments and cleaned up after us it was awesome if it wasn't for them we probably wouldn't be able to go and have free food.
